As promised, here is the final piece in my series of 80s Toon Gargoyles. An ad banner for "Weisman's Spectacular, Super 80's Toon Saturday!!" Starring:
HE-GOYLE Goliath, as He-Goyle Elisa Maza, as Teela, Captain of the Guard Bronx, as Cringer
I have been working on this piece for the last month, off and on. Each character took a minimum of 8 hours to complete, from sketch to final product. I used several references of both the Gargoyles and the 80s characters. All lettering used was rendered from standard fonts (Copperplate Bold, Kristen) painstakingly hand-altered in Photoshop. "Inked" and colored in Photoshop.

whoa, neat! my fave toons as 80's cartoon characters! ... I love Bronx as Cringer. I wonder what he'll look like as battle cat (beast).. when I first saw the metamorphosis epsiode.. I instanly thought of thundercats.... be cool to see Swiftwind as a Gargoyle *hint*

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!

Swifty Goyle, eh? Hmm... If only the Avalon Gargy Beast (Boudicca) weren't female...
