MGC: Her Grace, Duke of Ankh by Valky MGC: Her Grace, Duke of Ankh by Valky
I couldn't help myself. This month's MGC is contemporary fiction, and I'm in the middle of rereading Terry Pratchett's Discworld books again (at least, I'm rereading the ones which feature the City Watch, because I love me some Sam Vimes), and Elisa just seemed like such a good fit in the Watch... so, I did her up as His Grace, the Duke of Ankh-Morpork, Sir Samuel Vimes, Commander of the Watch. And of course, I couldn't leave out Lady Sybil Ramkin, Vimes' large boned wife... and I'm sure we all know how much I love to put Goliath in dresses... and he was just the right size... Yes, I'm a bad, bad lady. And I like it. ;P

Neither of them looks too happy with me, huh? Can't imagine why... Oh well. We must suffer for art, my friends.

Gargoyles, Goliath and Elisa belong to Disney and Greg Weisman
Discworld, Samuel Vimes, and Sybil Ramkin belong to the brilliant Terry Pratchett
This ridiculous monstrosity belongs to me

Thanks! I seem to have an unfortunate and recurring drive to dress Goliath in drag... sad, really. ;P

The trick is shallow breath. If women could do it for hundreds of years, i see no reason why a big burly gargoyle can't do it too. You get used to it, after a while.

And really, doesn't he look pretty? Sometimes one must suffer for beauty. ;P

Looks pretty good. Though you put my main Goliath in a dress, not cool. >.>

By the way what is the source material? These "Discworld" books. Never heard of them.

Ah, but it isn't the first time I've put Goliath in a dress... ( Check out the blue fairy!) I suppose I've sunken beneath reproach and regret by now. ;P

Discworld is a large series of "fantasy" books by Terry Pratchett. They are very clever and funny, especially the Guards books, and vaguely satirical. I highly recommend them if you enjoy comedy in your fantasy reading.

Hmm...never heard of the books or of the author. I don't do a whole lot of fantasy reading, but you can't go wrong with humour. I'll have to check them out.

Poor Goliath...:(
